Rallying Behind One of Our Own
The Propane & Power Relief Fund was honored to donate a standby generator to Mike Vigliotti, a respected colleague in the propane industry who continues to bravely battle ALS. Mike, a longtime member of the Bergquist team, has shown incredible strength and advocacy throughout his journey with this devastating disease.
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a progressive neuromuscular disorder that robs individuals of the ability to walk, speak, and eventually breathe. Despite these challenges, Mike has remained a powerful voice for the ALS community and an example of resilience within our industry.
When we learned of his situation, we knew we wanted to help in a way that aligned with our mission—restoring comfort, independence, and safety through propane-powered solutions. Providing a generator was just one small way to stand behind Mike as he continues to fight, advocate, and inspire us all.
The propane industry is a close-knit community, and stories like Mike’s remind us why we show up for one another—not just during disasters, but in the everyday battles, too.
